I usually donβt like to make the same recipe too often; the flavors get old fast with me. So making the same brownie recipe twice in one month is unheard of for me.
But before I knew it I was craving something chocolaty and nutty. These brownies instantly popped into my mind. I only had 1/4 cup of Justinβs chocolate hazelnut butter left so I improvised the other half with Justinβs chocolate almond butter. The result was a fun mix of nutty flavor.
I ended up adding too much liquid without measuring(see, measuring is important!) and they came out more cakey than I usually like. But they were still satisfyingly rich and practically melted in my mouth.
Try them with a glass of chocolate almond milk and you will never look back.
Can’t go wrong with chocolate & hazelnut!
You’re the brownie king.
These brownies look amazing! MMM…chocolate and hazelnut! π
I would make those over and over again! I loooove chocolate and hazelnut.
Thanks for inducing the craving! Haha! π Photos look great, Evan!
Just popping in to say Hi. Hope you had a Merry Christmas π
Oh Evan brownies that melt in your mouth and that use hazelnut butter…wow, delish!
Measuring is important but something I dont always do…haha π
Man, one (or 4) of these and chocolate almond milk sound like my heaven.
Looks great! Have fun with the new camera.
I saw the pic on fb, but it looks EVEN better on the blog π
Did you eat all of those?
P.s I am alive.
Gorgeous photos! Love the DSLR action Evan!
They look fabulous.
I have a problem with not measuring things too…
I actually own no proper measuring tools. It’s a gamble every time a make something π
Fantastic idea to use chocolate-nut butters in brownies π These looks great, even if you didn’t measure your liquid ingredients correctly, haha. It happens π
those look amazing. don’t know how you do it without measuring. too bad i’m still suffering from a horrible holiday sugar hangover. but give me a week and i’ll be back in action!
