Yesterday involved a lot of baking. It’s definitely on the shortlist of things I love to do. First you get to experiment with flavors and ingredients, then you get to eat it—what’s not to love?
Baking so much, you pick up lots of little tips and tricks, like how yogurt can replace up to 1/2 the oil in any bread recipe without impacting the flavor or texture. I baked this gingerbread using yogurt(recipe to come tomorrow), and now I’m giving you the chance to bake with yogurt, too.
The Giveaway
One commenter will win the same Stonyfield pack I received filled with a spatula, 2 recipe sets, and coupons worth $60 in value. I’ll pick a winner next Wednesday(the day before Thanksgiving!!), so be sure to leave an email account so I can notify you if you win. Please leave a separate comment for each mode of entry.

Cookies for sure!
I agree with Julie! Cookies for me!
my grandma’s raisin cake. I could (and have) eaten multiple slices in one sitting…
I love underbaked banana bread! YUM!
http://sweettoothsweetlife.com/2010/09/30/honey-raisin-banana-pumpkin-bread/
This makes incredible banana bread, and instead of subbing applesauce, I’m sure you could use yogurt.
I often, when I am feeling ultra lazy and in the mood for chocolate, will mix 1 container of yogurt with just a box of brownie mix and bake it, and it creates really fudgey, dense brownies.
Definitely cookies…there are so many delicious kinds!
ooh, delicious! I can’t wait to see all of the things you’ve been cooking up (white chocolate ganache?? yum!).
My favorite baked good is whatever I made recently– this time cranberry pecan oat chocolate chip cookies!
My favorite baked good is cheesecake! Yum
i love baking with yogurt! applesauce is another way i like to cut out some of the oil – sometimes all of it! my favorite baked good is chocolate chip cookies, but i loooove making banana bread with yogurt. so good!

Brownies!
I bet your Banana Blondies would work well with yogurt. It would probably add even more moisture, even though they look perfect!
My favorite baked good…I gotta go cookies! Nothing beats ’em! 🙂
My favorite is (any type of) bread and carrot cake!
Lately, I’ve been loving blondies!! The brownie’s tastier cousin =p
tweeted!
On the blondie note, I’d love to try these substituted with yogurt:

I need to stop being lazy and bake on of your recipes. Stat.
Definitely bread. I’m a carb girl, I’m not gonna lie!
My favorite baked good is scones, you can make any flavor (sweet or savory) and I do use yogurt in baking them (I replace all the oil and it still comes out perfect)

I noticed you used canola oil in this recipe, some yogurt might help this very best banana bread 🙂
I liked your facebook page!
My favorite baked good is definitely brownies. Especially with butterscotch chips in them!
I am a sucker for freshly baked bread. Sweets-wise, maybe gingerbread or zucchini bread.
brownies for sure are my favorite. you best get to writin’ that book! 😀
my favorite would be baked oatmeal!
Brownies – the chewy kind!
My favorite thing to bake are chocolate ‘cake-like’ things. I’ve been experimenting a lot with bean versions of things, and adding veggies like beets or using avocado instead of butter. Ditto with yogurt. So, I say cake-like because I’m never sure if I’m going to get something fluffy or fudgy, but it’s all good!

I would substitute the sour cream with yogurt. I think it’ll work just fine and won’t change the taste.
My favorite thing to make is probably sweet bread (pumpkin bread, banana bread) OR any kind of cookies!
I just love a good moist brownie!
Banana bread. Though I love baked rice pudding too!
Warm brownies are one of my favorites!
I tweeted. I am @butterjessfly::)

Ginger snaps!!! Yum – but I will never make them because I hate making cookies, the in and out and in and out of sheets is too boring for me
I think cookies. I love cookies!
Probably brownies or chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven. Though I wouldn’t turn my nose up at some banana bread, lemon muffins, gingerbread, pumpkin pie, or most other desserts for that matter 😉

My favorite baked good is zucchini bread! Delicious.
It depends on my cravings; sometimes rhubarb strawberry pie, sometimes a pound cake, sometimes pecan pie, german cake, banana bread, my mom’s amazing chocolate cake with chocolate whipped cream, sponge cake, sometimes a regular yellow cake…. I never get sick of Protein Cakes! So good!
Barbara
How are you getting so many responses to your giveaway? I’m having trouble getting more than 10 for any of my amazing chocolate giveaway and I’m shocked since I ask so little of the entrants.
http://thechocolatecult.blogspot.com/2010/11/artisan-marshmallows-giveaway.html
Picking just 1 is difficult, it all depends on my mood : oatmeal cookies, carrot cake, gingerbread, pounds cake, cheesecake or a buttery yellow cake.
Growing up, I was a cake girl. I simply couldn’t fathom how my father, wise as he was, could possibly prefer pie. And now here I am, humbly sitting with the epiphany that my favorite baked good is now just that: pie. Maybe coconut cream. Or berry. Or banana cream. Or pecan. Too hard to choose. But in any case, Dad, I have always respected you, but now I also understand you. 🙂
my favorite baked good has to be anything with the chocolate/peanut butter combo!
is it too late?
chocolate chip cookies are always my favorite!!!
